This mascara is just meh. I see that it's discontinued but it's honestly no big loss. It did not impress me or leave me in awe. In fact, the mediocrity of this mascara did nothing but make me want the tube to finish up faster so that I can go buy a new mascara. It hardly lengthens or volumizes, definitely does not curl and it seems to fade as the day does on. It doesn't run or flake or leave clumps. It's just not special.

I love this mascara. It does a great job of lifting my lashes and giving them a curled appearance. I did get a lot of length as well. The color was nice and dark and I didn't have any problems with clumping or smearing. Overall this is a great mascara.

Wow - I am impressed - Mascara was a nice medium between sticky & easy to glide-on. I'm sorry to hear it will be discontinued - The texture of the mascara has a "Loreal" feel to it, but doesn't smudge or leave a shadow near as much! continued >>

YEAH! I finally found a mascara that holds a curl and isnt waterproof. Smudges a little, but sacrifices have to be made. Would definitely rebuy, but it's discontinued.

The only positive feedback I can give on this mascara is that it does hold curls. But it does not make them anywhere near "sky high" nor does is give volume. It also clumps, and smudges off. I'm glad I bought this on sale for under 3 dollars.

This mascara delivers on length and curl like it says. Although I find that the wand isn't very good, it doesn't really help to separate so it gets quite clumpy, the brush also poked my eye a little bit but that might just be me

I purchased this at Rite Aid for about 2 bux and so of course, me loving deals snatched this up. This makes my lashes appear very soft, not 'sky high' like promised on the tube and nothing super special but I do find myself reaching for this more frequently lately. I really like the brush applicator and haven't found the formula to be flaky or goopy. I probably wouldn't pay more than 5 bux for this if I were in need of a good mascara, but would def. recommend if you're looking for soft lashes.

This is a OK mascara, but nothing special. It's a good price, but still i don't know if i would buy it again..... Many of L'oréals mascaras are almost as cheap as this one but much better!

the lengthening ability of the mascara is amazing
it is also the only non-waterproof mascara I've come across that doesn't make my curl collapse, and you can retain the most beautiful curl
what I do is I curl, apply first coat, curl again, then apply second coat, and then curl again
The cons of this mascara are that it doesnt thicken the lashes as much as volum express or intense xxl, but that didn't bother me as my lashes are quite dense and thick anyway
its prone to a tiny bit of smudging and flaking after about six hours
Also, the consistency of the mascara changes quite a bit after two weeks, as the formula gets more dry you'll notice a tiny bit of clumping and less lengthening, but this can be solved by wiping off the excess mascara on the brush every now and then with tissue
However the pros far outweigh the cons and i highly highly recommend this one

I was pleasantly surprised with this mascara. Usually I go for the volume claiming mascaras but I decided to give this a go. The mascara wand is quite easy to work with, and it really did give my lashes quite a bit of volume as well as great length. I find you can really build with this mascara to get a desired thickness. But one coating of this mascara works wonders. I would defiantly recommend this to someone who needs both volume and length in a mascara.

i have naturally longish and curly lashes, so i never have to curl my lashes. that being said, i was intrigued by this mascara and bought it on a whim. i have to say, i am quite impressed. this stuff curls my already curly lashes even more, and lengthens them so much that i sometimes have to wipe some of the product off my brows!
i took off a lippie because of the flimsy brush. it could be a lot better, but even so, i found a way to make it work and it actually looks pretty good. sometimes, i use the brush i got from my rimmel 100% waterproof mascara (that one flaked on me like a mofo so i tossed it and kept the nice brush). anyway, a couple coats of this and one coat of cg super thick lash and my lashes are drama drama drama.

I had been using CoverGirl Lash Blast - curl killer! I was looking for something non water proof, that would hold curl and make my lashes look nice. This is that mascara.
My eyelashes are normally just stick straight. Nothing special. So, I normally have to curl my eyelashes everytime I apply my mascara.
I curled my eyelashes and put this on..
From what I notice, the formula is really light and non clumpy (mind you, I had just bought it a few hours prior) It was GREAT. It left my curl perfectly intact and my lashes were evenly spaced and non clumpy. Yay!
Until I get more Lancome Hypnose, this will have to do.

Very impressed by this mascara. Does what it promises: lengthens and curves. No clumps either! The bristles on the brush could be a bit better quality which makes me knock off one lippie but otherwise absolutely no complaints. Will definitely repurchase. In fact I feel my long-term search for an HQ mascara has ended here. I'm sure there could be better ones out there, but I'm happy enough with this one not to care:)

This mascara added length but I didn't think it curled as much as loreal voluminous. The packaging is average, but it has this little click on the lid that lets you know it's closed, so that's nice. smudges after a few hours of wear. Wish it was more longer lasting. For length it's great but still not a curling mascara. A Great buy at $5.00 on sale.

This stuff works very well if you learn to apply a certain way.
It makes my already long lashes stand out and also adds a curl, no eyelash curl needed!
So if you want a wide eyed look, with a natural curl, get this mascara! if you have short stubby lashes, try a lengthening mascara and then this on top!

many people don't seem to like this mascara, but this really works for me. ive tried many different mascaras and this is the best at giving me the look i want. i have fairly short eyelashes and they do not curl up naturally. so when i apply this mascara, it really lengthens my lashes and curls it SKY HIGH literally. nowadays, i've been applying castor oil to my lashes and they've grown quite a bit, so with that combo i now look like i have fake eyelashes when i apply this mascara.
it took some time for me to get used to it, because it tended to clump and smear all over my eyelids when i first started using it. but once i 'mastered' how to put it on right, i really loved it.

this is my absolute favorite Maybelline mascara!!! It makes my lashes so long and beautiful and looks natural with only one coat. I do not know if it really curls though, because i always use an eyelash curler! but it Definataly gave my lashes length. I like this much more than the EL or Clinique length mascaras

Sort of cute, but looks can be deceiving. It doesn't really curl or lengthen at all. Bought this just randomly (it was probably on sale, hehe). The quality of it all is horrible. It dries out and the wand is terrible. It makes the mascara basically prone to smudging and clumping! I don't recommend this product at all. If you want to go cheap try CG, although I hear some other maybelline mascara's do alright.
